The packaging material hot tack and heat seal performance tester is developed and manufactured according to ASTM F1921, ASTM F2029 and other standards. This advanced testing equipment performs multiple test types including hot tack testing, heat seal testing, heat seal strength testing, and tensile testing.
Traditional heat seal testing involves placing sealed samples on a tensile machine after temperature drops to room temperature, resulting in higher force values. However, many manufacturers require measurement of sealing force at specific time intervals after sealing, before temperature reaches room temperature. This critical testing method, known as hot tack testing, simulates the actual time intervals between production line processes.
