Geotextile Cone Dynamic Perforation Tester Drop Punch GB/T17630 ISO 13433
This instrument determines the ability of geotextiles and related products to resist penetration by steel cones falling from a fixed height, characterizing damage caused by sharp stones impacting geotextile surfaces. Performance conforms to national standard GB/T17630 requirements for "Dynamic Perforation Test of Geotextiles and Related Products - Falling Cone Method".
Testing Principle
The geotextile sample is clamped horizontally in a clamping ring, and a steel cone of specified mass is dropped onto the sample from 500mm height to create a hole. A small-angle measuring cone marked with scales is then inserted into the hole to measure penetration depth.
