Test Methods
Preconditioning includes tempering treatment, ultraviolet irradiation pretreatment, and water treatment. Impact absorption testing uses a drop hammer height of 1000mm ± 5mm with sequential flooding, heat, cold, and ultraviolet radiation pretreatment. Puncture resistance testing positions the cone axis through the helmet crown's weakest point within a 100mm diameter area at 1000mm ± 5mm height.
