The fall darts impact tester applies controlled impact forces to plastic film or chip materials using free-falling darts. It accurately measures the impact quality and energy required when 50% of the plastic film or chip sample is damaged.
Working Principle
Testing begins with method selection and estimation of initial mass and Δm values. The system automatically adjusts falling mass based on sample results: decreasing mass if the first sample is damaged, or increasing mass if undamaged. After testing 20 samples, the system calculates damage totals and automatically determines when testing is complete, providing final impact results.
