Technical Structure

The main working components consist of two hollow or drilled rollers rotating inwards in opposite directions. The front roller (operator side) can be moved horizontally back and forth manually or electrically to adjust the roller gap, while the rear roller remains fixed. Both rollers are typically the same size but rotate at different speeds, creating strong shearing action for effective plasticizing or mixing.

Rollers are manufactured from LTG-H safety chilled cast iron with surface hardness of HS 68-75, featuring smooth ground surfaces. The hollow rollers allow for steam or cooling water circulation to precisely adjust temperature according to processing requirements.
