1. Product Overview

The N2XBY 0.6/1kV cable is engineered for reliability in harsh environments. Featuring a robust Double Steel Tape Armor (DSTA), this cable offers superior mechanical protection against crushing and impact, making it the ideal solution for direct burial without the need for additional piping. The XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation ensures high thermal stability and excellent electrical performance compared to standard PVC cables.

As seen in the product photos, the cable features high-purity Class 2 stranded copper conductors, a clear bedding layer, and a precise galvanised steel tape armoring layer, ensuring longevity and safety in power grids and industrial plants.

2. Key Features

  • High-Purity Copper: 99.9% Oxygen-free plain annealed copper conductors (Class 2 Stranded) ensure maximum conductivity and low resistance.

  • Double Steel Tape Armor (DSTA): Two layers of galvanized steel tape are helically applied, providing excellent crush resistance and rodent protection.

  • High Temperature Rating: XLPE insulation allows for a continuous operating temperature of 90°C and short-circuit ratings up to 250°C.
