| Use | Antioxidant 3052 is a versatile antioxidant used to provide stability in the processing of adhesives, elastomers and plastics. Unlike traditional phenolic antioxidants, antioxidant 3052 can effectively trap alkyl free radicals (carbon free radical traps). Especially in the hypoxic conditions of high temperature and high shear processing can play a greater role. Antioxidant 3052 has a significant effect on the stability of adhesive elastomers based on polybutadiene and other dienes, such as polybutadiene and polybutadiene copolymers and other monomers. It can also be used in HIPS, ABS, SBS, SBR, NR, EPDM and hydrocarbon resins. Antioxidant 3052 can effectively prevent the gel formation of butadiene homopolymer and copolymer, especially in the process of anaerobic conditions without discoloration, low volatile content.
