The pre-owned Rohde & Schwarz SMR27 delivers clean CW and analog-modulated microwave signals from 10 MHz up to 27 GHz, removing the need for multiplier chains when characterising Ku-band devices.


A wide –110 dBm to +13 dBm output span and tight level accuracy provide reliable power sweeps for mixer loss, amplifier gain and antenna pattern measurements, while typical phase noise of –110 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz offset preserves stringent ACLR and phase-noise budgets. Optional plug-ins add high-fidelity AM, FM, PM, pulse and vector I/Q modulation, turning the generator into a versatile stimulus source for radar, sat-com and 5 G down-conversion work.


Each unit ships fully tested, freshly calibrated and firmware-current, enabling immediate bench deployment and substantial CAPEX savings without compromising Rohde & Schwarz signal purity or SCPI automation.
