Description
The DHP 7.2 axial piston pump, a high-performance water treatment consumable from WUXI FENIGAL, is engineered for large/medium seawater & industrial desalination systems. As a core model in the DHP series, it stands out with strong corrosion resistance, large flow, and high stability—becoming essential fluid transfer equipment for industrial reverse osmosis desalination scenarios.


Operating on the axial piston principle, its plungers (parallel to the drive shaft) reciprocate in bores to adjust pump cavity volume, enabling high-pressure transfer of low-viscosity corrosive media (seawater, industrial saline wastewater). Unlike traditional pumps, it uses the transported fluid as lubricant, eliminating oil tanks and oil leakage to meet desalination’s strict cleanliness demands. The integrated flushing check valve simplifies RO membrane system piping, reducing installation space and costs—ideal for factory-level wastewater desalination and medium-sized seawater desalination stations.

Installation & Operation Tips

  1. Interface Connection: "I" = inlet, "O" = outlet (M42×1.5). Use high-pressure PTFE gaskets to prevent leakage.
  2. Filtration Requirement: Install 10 μm absolute filter (≥99.98% efficiency, β10>5000) at inlet—prohibit 90% efficiency filters to avoid component wear.
  3. Pressure Protection: Inlet low-pressure switch (2 Bar) prevents dry running; outlet high-pressure switch (70 Bar) + safety valve (5-9 MPa) protects RO membranes.
  4. Start-Up/Shutdown: Flush with fresh water for ≥10 mins after shutdown (add bactericide if >15 days shutdown). Never start with rear valve closed.
