Description
As a key model in the DHP series, the DHP 3.0 Axial Piston Pump is a professional high-pressure Water Treatment Consumable, tailor-made for industrial reverse osmosis scenarios. It excels at conveying high-pressure, low-viscosity corrosive fluids—ideal for seawater desalination, industrial desalination, and industrial saline wastewater treatment, effectively handling media like seawater and brackish water.


Operating on the axial piston principle, the pump uses plungers (parallel to the drive shaft) reciprocating in plunger bores to change cavity volume and transfer fluid. Unlike traditional piston pumps, it uses the conveyed fluid as lubrication, eliminating the need for a lubricating oil tank. This not only simplifies the structure but also completely avoids oil leakage pollution, perfectly meeting the strict cleanliness requirements of desalination systems. Additionally, it boasts a compact design (lighter and smaller than peers with the same flow/pressure) and high operating efficiency, cutting long-term energy costs for users.


Key components are made of 2205 duplex stainless steel, ensuring strong corrosion resistance to high-salinity media. It runs with low noise (≤77 dB(A) per EN ISO 3744-2010) and stable performance. As a fixed-displacement pump, its flow rate is strictly proportional to speed at 80 Bar working pressure: at the rated 3000 rpm, flow reaches 3.0 m³/h (50 L/min); at 1500 rpm, it’s about 1.5 m³/h. For custom needs, use the formula Selected Motor Speed = (Required Flow Rate × 3000)/3.0—e.g., 2.2 m³/h requires ~2200 rpm, enabling precise flow matching.


To ensure safe and stable operation, follow strict installation and operation guidelines:


  • Installation: Clearly distinguish "I" (inlet) and "O" (outlet) to avoid reverse-connection damage; keep 3-5 mm clearance between pump and motor coupling (no axial/radial loads on the pump shaft).
  • Filtration: Install a 10 μm absolute filter (≥99.98% efficiency, β10>5000) at the inlet—avoid low-efficiency filters to prevent plunger wear from particles.
  • Pressure Protection: Add a 1 Bar low-pressure switch (prevents dry running) at the inlet, and a 70 Bar high-pressure switch + safety valve at the outlet (avoids membrane/pipeline overpressure damage).
  • Shutdown Flushing: Flush the cavity with fresh water after each shutdown (bactericide for >15-day shutdowns) to prevent salt crystallization; never start with the downstream valve closed.


Power varies by pressure: 7.5 kW at 60-70 Bar, 11 kW at 80 Bar (recommended for seawater desalination, which operates at 70-80 Bar). The pump comes with a 1-year basic warranty (covers quality issues, excludes man-made damage) and an 8000-hour maintenance-free warranty (max 18 months) under standard use.
