Description
As a key model in the DHP series, the DHP 2.7 Axial Piston Pump is a professional high-pressure Water Treatment Consumable, engineered for transporting high-pressure, low-viscosity corrosive fluids. It’s widely applied in industrial reverse osmosis scenarios—including seawater desalination and industrial desalination—effortlessly conveying media like seawater and industrial saline wastewater.


Operating on the axial piston principle, the pump uses plungers (parallel to the drive shaft) reciprocating in plunger bores to change cavity volume and transfer fluid. Unlike traditional piston pumps, it eliminates the need for a lubricating oil tank, instead using the conveyed fluid as lubrication. This design fundamentally prevents oil leakage pollution, perfectly suiting the high cleanliness demands of seawater and industrial wastewater treatment. It also boasts a compact structure (smaller and lighter than peers with the same flow/pressure), high operating efficiency, and low energy consumption—effectively cutting long-term operating costs for desalination systems.


Crafted with 2205 duplex stainless steel for key components, the pump offers strong corrosion resistance to high-salinity media. It runs quietly (≤77 dB(A) per EN ISO 3744-2010) and stably. As a fixed-displacement pump, its flow rate is strictly proportional to speed at 80 Bar working pressure: at 1000 rpm, flow is ~0.9 m³/h; at the rated 3000 rpm, it reaches 2.7 m³/h (45 L/min). For custom flow needs, use the formula Selected Motor Speed = (Required Flow Rate × 3000)/2.7—e.g., 2.0 m³/h requires ~2222 rpm, ensuring precise system matching.


To ensure safe operation, follow strict installation and operation rules:


  • Installation: Clearly identify "I" (inlet) and "O" (outlet) to avoid reverse-connection failure; reserve 3-5 mm gap between pump and motor coupling, and never let the pump shaft bear axial/radial loads.
  • Filtration: Install a 10 μm absolute filter (≥99.98% efficiency, β10>5000) at the inlet—use precision depth filters, not low-efficiency bag/spiral wound filters—to protect internal components.
  • Pressure Protection: Add a 1 Bar low-pressure switch (prevents idling) at the inlet, and a 70 Bar high-pressure switch + safety valve at the outlet (avoids pipeline/membrane overpressure damage).
  • Shutdown Flushing: Flush the cavity with fresh water after each shutdown (bactericide for >15-day shutdowns) to prevent salt crystallization; never start with the rear valve closed.


Power varies by pressure: 7.5 kW at 60-70 Bar, 11 kW at 80 Bar (recommended for seawater desalination, which operates at 70-80 Bar). The pump includes a 1-year basic warranty (excludes man-made/non-compliant damage) and an 8000-hour maintenance-free warranty (max 18 months) under standard use.
