Produced Water Treatment DOW UF Membranes SFP-2880 / SFD-2880 PVDF Module 77 m2 0.03 um Oilfield Reuse
Oil and gas operations generate large volumes of produced water that must be treated before reinjection, discharge or beneficial reuse. Ultrafiltration has become the workhorse of produced water reclamation because it removes suspended solids, oil droplets, bacteria and colloids in a single reliable step. The DOW UF membrane SFP-2880 / SFD-2880 module, with 77 m2 of PVDF membrane area, delivers the throughput and fouling tolerance that oilfield water treatment skids demand.
The SFP-2880 is an outside-in, dead end filtration module built around a reinforced PVDF hollow fiber with a 0.03 um nominal pore size. Its hydrophilic fiber surface resists oil fouling far better than hydrophobic membranes, while the large 77 m2 area keeps flux moderate and chemical cleaning frequency low. Each module is factory integrity tested so that operators can rely on consistent filtrate quality from the first day of service.

In produced water reclamation plants the SFP-2880 modules are typically arranged in vertical racks downstream of deoiling and upstream of reverse osmosis. The UF step protects RO membranes from silt, oil and biological fouling so that the RO system can operate at higher recovery and longer cleaning intervals, whether the goal is reinjection, irrigation-quality reuse or boiler feed.
The same modules are used for oilfield wastewater polishing, tank farm runoff treatment and pipeline hydrotest water recycling. For remote sites the modules run on automatic backwash with minimal chemical consumption, and our engineers help size the rack, blower and CIP system around your produced water analysis.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach SFP-2880 / SFD-2880 module is shipped wet with protective end caps, individually boxed and palletized for sea freight. Every module carries a factory test certificate confirming fiber integrity and bubble point, and stock delivery is 5-8 working days.
We supply original DOW / DuPont IntegraFlux modules with full traceability and provide technical support for rack design, backwash programming and cleaning schedules. Send us your produced water analysis and target flow rate to receive a complete UF system proposal.
