Description
This product is a water-based hydroxylated acrylic dispersion designed for formulating high-performance, two-component polyurethane (2K PU) coatings. A key feature is its positioning as a recommended replacement for ​​Bayhydrol A2470​​.
​​Primary Application:​​
It is used with a water-based isocyanate curing agent to create topcoats and clearcoats for various ​​metal and wood substrates​​.

​​Application Guidelines:​​
  • •
    ​​Curing Agent:​​ Must be diluted to 60-70% with a co-solvent (e.g., PGDA or PMA+DBE blend) before use.
  • •
    ​​Mixing:​​ The main agent and curing agent must be stirred thoroughly, ideally with a mechanical stirrer.
  • •
    ​​Dilution:​​ Can be diluted with water at 5-25% of the main agent weight.
  • •
    ​​Grinding:​​ It has excellent wettability and ​​can be used in grinding processes​​, but with important precautions:
    • •
      Grinding time should be ​​less than 2 hours​​.
    • •
      Grinding temperature should be ​​below 50°C​​.
    • •
      The process contains unstable factors that may decrease stability.
