Product Details


Type 1K Purple Basecoat color paint
Substrates

Well-sanded,completely dried and good existing finishes as:

A. original paint B.old paint firm C.1K or 2K primer

Surface Cleaning

Wash by warm soap, remove wax, silicon and other contaminations with degreaser, sanding with P800-P1000,

wash with clean water then keep dry, again with degreaser.
Mixing Ratio Basecoat Thinner
<15°C 1K Transparent Blue basecoat color paint 602 Fast Thinner
15-30°C 1K Transparent Blue basecoat color paint 602 Standard Thinner
>30°C 1K Transparent Blue basecoat color paint 602 Slow Thinner
Spray Viscosity 14-16s to drop off, in 4# viscosity cup at 25°C
Re-Treatment After Spray, allow 10-20 minutes air-drying time,then spray clear coat at once.
Spray Gun Set Up

Gravity Feed: 1.2-1.5mm 3-5kg/cm²

Gravity Feed: 1.4-1.6mm 3-5kg/cm²
Spray Technology

Coats & Thickness: 2-3 coats, total 15-20um.

Flash-Off Time: At 25°C, 5-10 minutes between two coats, it depends on temperature and paint film.


Note:
1. The substrate must be cleaned and sanded before spray, wet sanding P800-1000 and then dry.
2. At ambient temperature higher than 30ºC, add appropriate Retarder Solvent into thinner to avoid blushing. For more details, please refer to technical data sheet of Retarder Solvent.
3. To avolid problems of mottling or poor adhesion, the metallic paint film should be 15-25um.
