Car paint preparation

1. Cleaning and preparation: Make sure the mixing tools and containers are clean and free of impurities.
2. Determine the color formula: According to the original color of the vehicle or the required color, refer to the color formula manual or use a computer color matching system to determine the proportion of the required pigment, resin and solvent.
3. Weighing and mixing: Use precise weighing tools to accurately weigh the ingredients according to the formula. Then mix them step by step and stir them evenly until a uniform color and consistency is achieved.

Car spray painting

1. Surface treatment: Thoroughly clean and polish the surface of the car to remove dirt, rust, old paint and uneven areas. Use sandpaper to polish until smooth and clean dust.
2. Masking protection: Use masking paper and tape to protect areas that do not need to be painted, such as windows, tires, lights, etc.
3. Preparation for spraying: Pour the prepared paint into the paint cup of the spray gun, and adjust the air pressure, spray shape and paint output of the spray gun.
4. Painting operation: Keep the spray gun perpendicular to the surface of the car body, about 15-25 cm away, move the spray gun at a constant speed, and use thin spraying in multiple layers, leaving appropriate drying time between each layer.
5. Drying and curing: Depending on the type of paint used and the environmental conditions, let the painted surface dry naturally or use heating equipment to accelerate drying and curing.
6. Inspection and finishing: After painting, check the paint surface for defects, sagging or uneven areas, and polish and finish if necessary. It should be noted that car painting is a professional job that requires certain skills and experience.
