
Project Overview
The Cold Washing HDPE/PP Plastic Recycling Washing Line is a high-capacity, automated system designed for processing 2000-3000kg/h of post-consumer or post-industrial HDPE and PP plastics. By utilizing an energy-efficient cold washing method, the line eliminates the need for thermal energy while ensuring thorough cleaning and separation of contaminants. The system is engineered to transform heavily soiled plastic waste into high-purity flakes, ready for reuse in manufacturing. Its robust design and scalable configuration make it ideal for large-scale recycling operations aiming to maximize output quality and minimize operational costs.

The 2000-3000 kg/h HDPE/PP cold wash line begins with automatic feeding of material into a primary shredder for coarse reduction. The shredded fragments then pass through a separation stage where metals and other contaminants are removed. Following this, a secondary granulator precisely reduces the material into uniform flakes. The process continues with an initial friction washing and floatation rinse cycle to remove heavy contaminants, followed by an identical secondary washing and rinsing stage for deep cleaning. The purified flakes are then dewatered using a high-speed centrifugal dryer. Subsequent air classification eliminates lightweight impurities, with an optional optical sorter available for color-based separation. The final step involves automated weighing and bagging of the finished material.
