• Soft water salt:also known as ion exchange resin regeneration agent, its main chemical composition is sodium chloride (NaCl), the content is more than 99.6%, the general shape is spherical agent.

Soft water salt, the composition of high purity sodium chloride, simply speaking, is used to restore (reduction) softening water equipment inside the ion exchange resin (ion exchange resin, is the core part of the softening water equipment, is used to adsorb calcium and magnesium ions inside the raw water, that is, water and alkali) activity, so also called ion exchange resin regeneration agent. When the softening water treatment equipment works and makes water, it does not need soft water salt. Only when the softening water capacity of the resin decreases, it will use the principle of backwashing to wash the resin through saturated sodium chloride solution and restore the activity of the resin, also called resin regeneration.

• Working principle of soft water salt: when the water softness machine works for a period of time, the ion exchange resin produces a certain amount of soft water, the hardness ions (calcium and magnesium) adsorbed by the resin will reach saturation, and then lose the exchange ability. This requires resin regeneration, through the recycled material soft water salt saturated solution to replace the hardness ions in the resin, so that the ion resin can continue to be used. However, the content of soft water salt sodium chloride (NaCl) is required to be above 99.6%, the impurity content is less than 0.2%, and the particle size is not easy to be too small.
