The RTHF377 Ballast Hopper Wagon is a robust self-discharging open-top rail vehicle engineered for transporting bulk materials like ballast and ore. With a tare weight of ≤24 t and a payload of 60 t, the RTHF377 delivers a 36 m³ capacity for heavy-duty bulk transport, while its axle load can be tailored between 16 t and 23 t to match client requirements. The wagon’s maximum operating speed of 80 km/h ensures efficient logistics, and its 70 m minimum curve radius allows smooth navigation on standard rail networks.

Unloading is highly flexible: six bottom doors (2 left, 2 right, 2 center) enable discharge to both sides of the rails or between rails. The doors are primarily pneumatically operated via the train brake pipe, with left and right doors also supporting manual operation for backup. The 36.5° end wall angle ensures complete, clean emptying of bulk materials, minimizing residue and maximizing operational efficiency.
