Quartz glass exhibits no chemical reaction with acids except hydrofluoric acid. Its acid resistance is 30 times greater than ceramic and 150 times superior to stainless steel. The material maintains exceptional chemical stability at low temperatures, outperforming all other engineering materials.
Excellent Thermal Stability
The minimal thermal contraction coefficient enables quartz glass to withstand severe temperature variations. Quartz glass heated to 1100℃ will not fracture when immersed in cold water.
Superior Light Transmission
Quartz glass provides outstanding transmittance across all spectral bands from ultraviolet to infrared. Visible light transmittance exceeds 93%, with maximum ultraviolet spectral transmittance over 80%.
