This actuator is suitable for use in over 90% of explosive gas atmospheres, excluding underground coal mines. Its motor and electronic components feature flameproof treatment.

The machining precision of all mating surfaces is strictly controlled and inspected at the supplier level, ensuring the flameproof gap is sufficiently narrow to contain internal sparks. The aluminum housing is high-pressure die-cast using a larger tonnage press than standard electric actuators, resulting in a denser structure capable of withstanding significantly higher explosion pressures.

All mating surfaces between enclosure parts are designed in accordance with ATEX and UL standards, precisely machined, and tested prior to assembly to guarantee the explosion-proof rating. Installation is simplified via standard ISO5210 multi-flange mounting and double square drive.
