Prefab structure warehouse buildings can be designed according to different uses in different industries. There are a variety of options for walls and roofs, including solid-color corrugated panels and sandwich panels or metal cladding with insulation. Steel warehouses can suit a wide range of project needs - from commercial (car sheds, showrooms) to agricultural (metal warehouses, warehouse sheds) to industrial (workshops, equipment warehouses).

The steel frame of a steel warehouse building usually consists of vertical columns and horizontal beams. These beams and columns are connected by bolts or welded to form a portal frame.
