Single Shaft Shredder for Processing Melt Lumps
During
HDPE pipe extrusion operations, production generates substantial waste melt lumps that are too large and rigid for standard crushers. Our single shaft shredder features high rotation speed and specialized shaped knives to effectively process these challenging materials through the input port, producing uniform particles from the outlet.

Primary Applications
Single shaft plastic shredders serve as pre-crushing systems for materials that are difficult to process directly in granulators, including:
- Sacks and jumbo bags
- Tires and rubber materials
- Cable and wiring
- Yarn and textile waste
Pre-crushing materials significantly increases granulator capacity and extends equipment lifespan while protecting blade integrity. Materials processed through rotating and fixed blades can be further refined to desired specifications using granulators.
