Technical Introduction

Aluminum and aluminum alloy products undergo anodic oxidation treatment, forming an aluminum oxide film on the surface through electrolyte solution processing. This process creates oxide layers ranging from several microns to hundreds of microns thick, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and decorative properties compared to natural aluminum alloy oxide films.

The porous aluminum oxide membrane requires sealing before use to improve corrosion resistance and weatherability. Three primary sealing methods are employed: high-temperature hydration reaction closure, inorganic salt closure, and organic closure.
