HEC(Hydroxyethyl Cellulose)- Introduction
Full Name: Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, a non-ionic water-soluble cellulose . It appears as white or pale yellow fibrous powder, non-toxic and odorless.

Industrial Manufacturing Field

1. Coatings & Inks: An efficient thickener and leveling agent for water-based systems, it improves the flatness and anti-sagging property of paint films, stabilizes the suspension of pigments and fillers, and is suitable for architectural coatings, industrial paints, water-based inks, etc.

2. Building Materials: Serves as a water retention agent and thickener in cement mortar, putty and tile adhesive, reducing water loss, preventing cracking, and improving the workability and bonding strength of construction materials. It is also used for modification of gypsum products and thermal insulation mortar.

3. Textile Dyeing & Printing: A viscosity-increasing and water-retaining component in textile sizing paste, it enhances the adhesion of the paste to fibers, improves sizing uniformity, and reduces weaving breakage.
