Handling Instructions
  • Do not touch the gray or black surface of the belt because of possible skin oils or fingerprints. Serious print quality problems can occur.
  • Avoid light exposure. Do not leave the belt exposed to direct sunlight or in strong room light for an extended period, since this light will damage the photosensitive properties of the belt.
  • Remove all packaging before use. Orange protective clips, tapes, and packaging material must be completely removed before installation. Failure to do so and attempting to turn on the printer will destroy it.
Basic Replacement Procedure
  1. Power off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord and wait for the cooling to complete.
  3. Open the printer's right-side door.
  4. Unlock the ITB and remove the old unit. Slide the replacement B5L24-67901 unit into the spot until it clicks.
  5. Close the printer door and plug it back in, printing a configuration page to check.
