The Designed Roof Ventilator for Prefabricated Steel Structure Warehouse Workshop is a high-efficiency ventilation system integrated into the roof of prefabricated steel structure warehouses. Through aerodynamic design and modular prefabrication technology, it enables rapid exhaust of hot, humid air, dust, and harmful gases from the workshop.
Its core functions include:
Leverages the thermal pressure effect (chimney effect) and wind pressure to achieve continuous air exchange without electrical power, reducing workshop energy consumption. This passive ventilation mechanism ensures sustainable airflow while minimizing operational costs.
Specifically engineered for high-humidity, high-dust, and strong-odor environments in warehouses and processing workshops, it improves indoor air quality (IAQ) and safeguards operational safety by efficiently removing contaminants and maintaining optimal ventilation rates.
Fully integrated with the steel structure roof through modular prefabrication, it ensures compatibility with the main building’s waterproofing, wind resistance, and seismic performance. This seamless integration enhances overall structural integrity and durability.
- Streamlined Throat: Adopts a divergent design (expansion angle 15°–30°) to reduce airflow resistance and enhance ventilation efficiency.
- Deflector System: Upward-inclined deflectors (angle 45°–60°) guide air flow upward for exhaust, preventing rainwater backflow while enhancing wind pressure utilization.
- The main body of the ventilator is modularly assembled in the factory (including framework, deflectors, and waterproof base), requiring only bolted connections to the steel roof purlins on site, increasing installation efficiency by 60%.
- Standardized interfaces adapt to different roof slopes (5°–30°) and can be integrated with roof components such as light strips and solar panels.
- Wind Uplift Resistance Structure: Uses a dual fixation system of hidden clamps + penetrating bolts, with clamp spacing ≤300mm and bolt pull-out resistance ≥8kN.
Seismic Joints: Flexible connections (elastic gaskets) with the steel roof can withstand inter-story displacement of ±15mm, meeting the requirements of 8-degree seismic fortification.

- Solutions: Ventilators are evenly spaced along the roof ridge (spacing 6–9 meters), combined with low-level air inlets to form a "bottom-in, top-out" air circulation.

- Scenario Needs: Welding, cutting, and other processes generate oil fumes, metal dust, and heat.
- Solutions: Concentrated installation of large-throat ventilators (throat ≥4 meters) above heat sources (e.g., directly above processing stations on the roof) to rapidly exhaust pollutants.
