SKH51 Material Die Punch Pins / Polished Punching Pins For Stamping Punch Mould

Die punch pins are essential accessories for stamping die operations. These replaceable mold consumables are mounted on stamping dies to perform continuous punching operations, separating or plastically deforming materials to produce finished or semi-finished products.

Available in various materials including SKD, SKH, and ASP, SKH punch pins are manufactured from specialized mold steel. Material differences result in varying appearances - tungsten steel pins appear darker while high-speed steel pins have a brighter finish.

Manufacturing Process
  1. Drawing & Cutting: Tested raw materials are drawn to desired diameter and cut into rod-shaped punch pin blanks.
  2. Heat Treatment: Blanks are straightened and heated to 800-1300°C for 2-5 minutes, achieving tip hardness of Hv590-800 after oil quenching and tempering.
  3. Grinding Processing: Pins are clamped and ground according to specific angular requirements.
  4. Polishing: Surface cleaning to remove oil, rust, and contaminants.
  5. Inspection & Storage: Quality verification followed by packaging and warehousing.
