Super Cold Resistant DOA Dioctyl Adipate Light Resistance Plasticizer
Low Initial Viscosity DOA For Plastisol Paste Good Storage Stability PVC Additive
Chemical Name: DOA (Dioctyl Adipate) Plasticizer
CAS Number: 103-23-1
Molecular Formula: C₂₂H₄₂O₄
Molecular Weight: 370.58
Product Overview
DOA is a high-performance cold-resistant plasticizer known for its high speed-up efficiency and minimal color change during heating. It provides products with excellent low-temperature flexibility, light resistance, and superior texture.
Key Benefits
- Superior Cold Resistance: Maintains product flexibility in low-temperature environments
- Processing Efficiency: High speed-up efficiency with excellent thermal stability
- Versatile Compatibility: Ideal for use with main plasticizers such as DOP and DBP
- Paste Stability: Ensures low initial viscosity and high viscosity stability when used as plasticizer paste
Application Guide
DOA, as a typical cold resistant plasticizer, has high growth efficiency and small color change when heated. It is suitable for various tree esters such as polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride copolymers, polystyrene, and synthetic rubber.
It can endow the product with good low tenderness, softness, and light resistance, and the product has a good hand feel. Often used with DOP and DBP as main plasticizers in cold resistant agricultural films, frozen food packaging films, wire and cable coatings, artificial leather, boards, outdoor water pipes, and more.
Important Note: DOA has high volatility and also has certain shortcomings in terms of water resistance, migration, and electrical insulation. This product is licensed for use in food packaging materials in countries such as the United States, France, Italy, Japan, and the Netherlands.
