Gb/T 1732 Paint Film Impact Tester / Drop Hammer Impact Tester

This Metal Coating Paint Impact Resistance Tester (Gb/T 1732) is designed in accordance with the standard GB/T 1732-1993 "Determination of Impact Resistance of Paint Films." The instrument determines the impact strength of paint films by dropping a weight from a specified height to strike the film surface.

The height of the weight is set by a control screw and can be read on the scale. Pressing the control screw compresses the control spring, aligning the holes in the control slider, control cover, and control base, thereby releasing the connected weight. The falling weight strikes the impact rod, which in turn acts downward on a test panel placed on the anvil block. After impact, the weight is lifted, and the tested panel is removed to examine the condition of the paint film.
