Product Overview
Tomarukun is a lightweight vehicle interception device designed for low-speed scenarios such as municipal road construction and temporary work zones. Made of high-strength aluminum alloy and weighing only 25kg, it features a foldable structure with bottom wheels, allowing one person to handle both deployment and storage. The device combines high-visibility engineering yellow warning with physical braking - upon vehicle impact, it lifts the front wheels through lever principle and brakes via the bottom rubber pad friction, achieving a stopping distance of only 8.7 meters at 60km/h, effectively protecting construction workers and drivers.

Product Structure Overview
| Component |
Description |
| Main Frame |
High-strength aluminum alloy structure, providing overall support |
| Front Support Arm |
Foldable, deployed to form interception posture |
| Bottom Rubber Pad |
Contacts the ground, provides braking friction |
| Bottom Wheels |
Facilitates movement and pushing |
| Folding Lock Buckle |
Locks/unlocks the folded state |
Deployment Process (Unfolding)
1 Push Tomarukun to the designated perimeter of the work area (recommended placement: approximately 20 meters behind the safety area), and adjust the direction according to the traffic flow.
2 Locate the folding lock buckle, unlock it, and release the front support arm.
3 Fold the front support arm down to the working position, ensuring the structure is fully in place.
4 Ensure the specially designed rubber pad at the bottom makes full contact with the ground. If the ground is uneven, adjust the position to ensure complete contact.
5 The device is now on standby, providing both warning and interception functions.
6 If equipped with an LED indicator board, install it in the designated position and turn on the light as needed to enhance warning effectiveness (suitable for nighttime or low-visibility conditions).
Storage Process (Wrap-Up)
1 Remove the optional LED indicator board from the device and store it properly.
2 Lift the front support arm upward, disengaging it from ground contact.
3 Secure the folding lock buckle, ensuring the support arm is firmly locked in the folded position.
4 Push the device to the warehouse or designated storage area.
Placement Position Recommendations
| Scenario |
Recommended Position |
| General construction sections |
Approximately 20 meters behind the work area |
| Highway/expressway construction |
Increase distance according to speed limits |
| Curved or sloping road sections |
Place further ahead to allow more buffer distance |
Important Notes
| No. |
Important Notes |
| 1 |
Ensure the bottom rubber pad makes full contact with the ground - do not leave it suspended, otherwise braking effectiveness will be affected |
| 2 |
Recommended for use on dry and level asphalt or concrete surfaces; soft or slippery surfaces may affect braking performance |
| 3 |
Recommended placement: approximately 20 meters behind the safety area to allow sufficient buffer distance |
| 4 |
Additional ordinary cones may be placed in front of the device as early warning based on actual site conditions |
| 5 |
At night or in low-visibility weather, LED indicator board must be used to enhance warning effectiveness |
| 6 |
Regularly check the wear condition of the bottom rubber pad; replace if excessively worn |
| 7 |
Regularly check the tightness of the folding lock buckle to ensure it remains secure during use |
| 8 |
Conduct a trial deployment before first use to master the correct unfolding and storage procedures |
| 9 |
After a severe collision, thoroughly inspect the product structure for any deformation or damage |
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is this product?
A: Stopping Device, designed for warning and vehicle interception at construction sites.
Q2: Where is it mainly used?
A: Low-speed scenarios such as municipal road construction, temporary work zones, traffic flow guidance, etc.
Q3: How heavy is it? Is it easy to move?
A: 25kg. Equipped with wheels at the bottom and foldable design - one person can easily push and move it.
Q4: How does it stop the vehicle?
A: Upon vehicle impact, the device lifts the front wheels through lever principle, redirecting kinetic energy to the ground, combined with friction braking via the bottom rubber pad.
Q5: What is the stopping distance?
A: On dry asphalt roads, approximately 8.7 meters at 60km/h.
Q6: How to use it?
A: Push to site -> release the folding lock buckle -> rubber pad contacts ground -> ready for use. After use, fold up the support arm, fasten the lock buckle, and push it away.
Q7: Can it be used at night?
A: Yes. It features high-visibility yellow color and can be optionally equipped with an LED indicator board for enhanced nighttime warning.
Q8: Can it withstand sun and rain?
A: Yes. The surface uses outdoor-grade electrostatic spraying, which is rust-proof and corrosion-resistant.
Q9: Does it save space when folded?
A: Yes. Height reduces from 1080mm to 365mm, making transportation and storage more convenient.
Q10: Is it environmentally friendly?
A: Yes. Made of aluminum alloy, which is recyclable.
Q11: What are the advantages over traditional traffic cones?
A: Cones provide warning only but cannot intercept. Tomarukun offers both warning and physical braking - stopping distance of only 8.7m at 60km/h. After use, it folds and can be pushed away, taking up little space.
Q12: What are the advantages over concrete barriers?
A: Concrete barriers can intercept but weigh hundreds of kilograms and require cranes for transport. Tomarukun weighs only 25kg - one person can push and deploy it in just 1 minute.
