Description
Our Heavy Duty Thimble is designed for use with high-performance wire rope.
The thimble creates a 'hard' eye at wire rope ends, making it features greater protection against wear and deformation of the wire rope eye. Our thimbles meet the performance requirements of Federal Specification FF-T-276B Type III. The galvanized Heavy Duty Thimble provide smooth and even grooves, maximum strength in critical areas, and the proper bending radius for the rope.
Main features:
- Used for wire ropes sized from 1/8" to 3-1/2".
- Galvanized and zinc plated.
- To assemble, place thimble into loop end, insert both ends of wire into clip saddle and tighten nuts until secure.
