Description

IS200SPIDG1A is a Simplex Funct ID Board manufactured by GE as part of the Mark VIe Series.

The I/O pack is mounted on the PROFIBUS Master Gateway Terminal board (SPIDG1A), which also provides an electronic ID.

As the PROFIBUS connection is established to the DE-9 D-sub receptacle connector that is exposed on the side of the I/O pack, that connection's only interface is with the I/O pack itself.

Indicator LEDs on the I/O pack enable visual diagnostics.

  • A fast CPU with flash memory and RAM.
  • Two connectorized, totally independent 10/100 Ethernet ports.
  • A hardware reset circuit and watchdog timer.
  • A temperature sensor inside.
  • LEDs that display status.
  • The capacity to read IDs on other boards through electronic means.
  • An input power connector with a current limiter and a soft start.
  • Local power supplies, with monitoring and sequencing.
