What is Brass Nail?
It is essentially the "anti-loose lock" of cold-expanded PEX, which relies on the rigid positioning of the brass nails to compensate for the creep of the plastic, ensuring that it will never loosen.

Brass Nail's Core function: mechanical locking (not sealing!)
- Sealing: relying on the barbed flange of the PEX pipe to retract after expansion.
- Copper pressure ring function: stuck between the expanded pipe wall and the flange of the pipe fitting to prevent the pipe mouth from coming out of the joint (resistance to pull-out force/resistance to pressure shock).

Working principle (three steps):
- Expansion: Special tools expand the PEX pipe mouth.
- Ring: Put the brass nail on the expanded pipe mouth.
- Insert and retract: Quickly insert the pipe fitting → the pipe mouth retracts → the brass nail is locked between the pipe wall and the pipe fitting (forming a physical stopper).
