Compared to the brittleness of older silk filaments, the new material boasts approximately 28% higher impact resistance and 35% higher elongation at break, allowing it to withstand certain bends. It is not recommended for use in high-temperature environments or for functional components subjected to heavy mechanical loads. When printing at high speeds, it is recommended to control the outer wall speed to retain the best gloss.
