Circular Vertical Atmospheric Pressure Carbon Steel Quick Opening Manhole, Strong Versatility

Product Description:

Manhole has been formed products, diameter is usually 600mm. The center of the manhole is 750mm away from the floor. It is convenient for the staff to enter and exit the oil tank or ventilate during installation, cleaning and maintenance.
The manhole of the non-metallic oil tank is arranged on the top of the tank, and the manhole of the metal oil tank is arranged on the bottom ring plate of the tank wall. It is mostly a circular hole with a diameter of 600mm, and its center is 750mm away from the bottom plate, which is used for oil tank cleaning or maintenance personnel to enter and exit oil tanks, also known as the door. Manholes are used for lighting and ventilation at all times when inspecting and cleaning oil tanks. When the capacity of the vertical oil tank is less than 5000m3, 1~2 individual holes are provided, and more than 5000m3 is provided with 2 individual holes. The installation of manholes should be no more than 90° away from the oil inlet and outlet lines. When only one manhole is set, it should be placed on the opposite side of the light transmittance hole on the top of the tank; When two man holes are set, one of them should be located opposite the light transmission hole, and the other should be at least 90° away from the first man hole.
A manhole should be located near the right side of the inlet and outlet oil pipe, and as far as possible, the manhole is directly opposite the tank room closed door for personnel to enter and exit, maintenance of the oil tank and ventilation nozzle.
Since the manhole is installed on the lowest body ring of the oil tank, leakage prevention is particularly important. It is required that the joint surface of the two flanges must ensure its flatness without flapping and twisting. The reinforcing plate and flange should be cut on the whole steel plate as far as possible without splicing. The flange and cover plate are processed with sealing rings, and special attention should be paid to protection during construction. Seal with 3mm thick asbestos rubber gasket, not allowed to break. When installing the tight bolts on the manhole cover, apply even diagonal force to prevent deformation of the hole cover.
