Product Functions
- Abrasive Material Conveyance: Specifically designed to handle highly abrasive media such as sand, gravel, silt, and slurry, with a wear-resistant inner liner that reduces material loss and extends hose service life.
- Pressure & Flexibility Balance: The multi-layer reinforcement structure (high-tensile polyester fabric, spiral steel wire) ensures the hose can withstand working pressures of 5-45 bar while maintaining excellent flexibility, allowing it to adapt to wave movement, vessel sway, and pipeline bending without kinking or damage.
- Shock & Vibration Absorption: Acts as a flexible connection between dredgers and steel/PE pipelines, absorbing shocks and vibrations caused by dredge pumps, wave action, and vessel movement, protecting the entire pipeline system from damage.
- Environmental Adaptation: The outer cover is made of neoprene or synthetic rubber composite, resistant to UV radiation, ozone, seawater corrosion, and extreme temperatures (-20℃ to +50℃), ensuring stable performance in both marine and onshore environments.
- Flow Optimization: The smooth inner surface of the hose minimizes flow resistance, ensuring efficient conveyance of dredged materials without clogging, even at high flow rates.
Product Applications
This is the primary application of our dredge rubber discharge hose, used in all types of dredging operations to transfer dredged materials from the dredger to shore, barges, or floating storage facilities. It is compatible with trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHD), cutter suction dredgers (CSD), and grab dredgers, and is ideal for:
