Production Process Overview
PE Base Film Extrusion
This production line adopts high-quality HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) as the base film raw material for manufacturing anti-corrosion wrapping tape. The HDPE material is fully melted and plasticized via a high-efficiency single-screw extruder, uniformly extruded through precision die head molding, and finalized with multi-roller casting cooling and shaping technology. The whole process effectively guarantees consistent film thickness, stable physical performance and excellent surface flatness for finished HDPE anti-corrosion wrapping tapes.
Adhesive Coating
High-performance butyl rubber adhesive is specially formulated to deliver ultra-strong bonding viscosity and exceptional long-term weathering stability for pipeline anti-corrosion applications. The premium butyl adhesive is uniformly coated on single or double sides of the HDPE base film, forming a tight, durable anti-corrosion bonding layer. This professional coating process ensures the cold applied HDPE wrapping tape features excellent adhesion, firm fitting performance and lasting pipeline corrosion protection effect in various harsh environments.
Slitting & Winding
The coated master roll is adjusted and precisely slit into the required width. Finished cold-applied anti-corrosion wrapping tape is then rewound, packaged, and ready for delivery.
