Galvanised Welded Wire Mesh For Subsea Pipe Concrete Coating Reinforcement
Pipeline Reinforced Mesh - Line Wire Crimped to Fit Concrete Application
Pipeline reinforced mesh, also called concrete weight coating mesh (CWC mesh), is manufactured from low carbon steel with galvanized coating. Available in both cold galvanized wire and hot dipped galvanized wire meeting ASTM standards, the line wires are deeply crimped and welded to form a wave structure. This design facilitates concrete coating and submergence in water or earth. The mesh provides excellent corrosion and rust resistance, protecting concrete weight coated pipelines during and after installation.
Pipeline Reinforced Mesh Structures
Pipeline reinforced mesh consists of line wires and cross wires:
- Line Wire: Deeply crimped and spaced at equal distances, welded into a wavy structure. Available in types with 6, 8, or 10 cross wires per mesh. In 6-cross-wire meshes, the middle 4 are equally spaced with edge wires positioned farther apart. This wave structure optimizes concrete coating and immersion.
- Cross Wire: Straight wires spaced uniformly across the mesh, securely fixed to line wires through spot welding technology.
- Exposed Wire Edge: ≤ 2.5 mm, ensuring excellent corrosion and rust resistance to protect pipelines.
Specifications of Pipeline Reinforced Mesh
4 standard types available: CT-N, CT-T, CT-L and CT-W.
CT-N
Low carbon steel wire mesh for concrete weight coated pipeline reinforcement. Features 6 deeply crimped line wires between cross wires. The 2-inch mesh with 1-inch overlap design optimizes coating application.
CT-T
Galvanized low carbon steel spot welded mesh with 8 deeply crimped line wires between cross wires, designed for concrete weight coated pipeline reinforcement.
CT-L
Galvanized low carbon steel spot welded mesh with 92.4 mm spacing between cross wires (versus standard 67 mm), engineered for concrete weight coated pipeline reinforcement.
CT-W
Galvanized low carbon steel spot welded mesh featuring 10 deeply crimped line wires between cross wires, designed for concrete weight coated pipeline reinforcement.
Features of Pipeline Reinforced Mesh
