Nihon Kohden's 10-lead ECG lead wire is mainly used for standard 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring, but through optimized design, 12-lead ECG signal acquisition can be achieved with fewer lead wires. A standard 12-lead ECG actually requires only 10 electrodes (4 on the limbs + 6 on the chest), which generate a 12-lead signal through a combination of circuits. The number of lead wires (10) corresponds to the position of the electrodes, not the final number of leads.

Main Uses:

- Collect complete 12-lead ECG signals (I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, V1-V6) through 10 lead wires (4 limb leads + 6 chest leads).

- Suitable for clinical diagnosis (such as myocardial ischemia, arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, etc.).

- In the ICU, CCU or operating room, connect to a monitor (such as Nihon Kohden's BSM/CardiMax series) for continuous monitoring.

- Used in emergency, ambulance or community medical scenarios to quickly obtain 12-lead data.
