The Biocare ECG-300G electrocardiograph print head fixing frame is made of iron metal material, which is very strong and not easy to damage. It is mainly used to fix the print head, ensuring a stable and precise relative position and pressure between the print head and the recording paper, thereby obtaining clear, accurate and distortion-free ECG waveform recording.

Purpose:

- Precise Positioning and Fixing: This securely holds the print head in place, preventing any lateral or vertical movement during printing, which could result in an unstable baseline, distorted waveforms, or ghosting in the printed ECG.

- Providing Uniform and Appropriate Pressure: The retaining frame, in conjunction with two springs, ensures that the print head maintains constant and appropriate pressure against the recording paper. Too little pressure can result in poor contact between the print head and the paper, while too much pressure can cause increased wear on the print head and recording paper, shortening the life of the print head.

- Ensuring Optimal Printing Distance: The retaining frame ensures a constant, designed, optimal distance between the print head tip and the recording paper. This distance is crucial for thermal printing, as it directly affects how well the heating element heats the thermal paper, thus affecting image clarity.
