Description

Residue and stains on the thermal print head can affect the clarity of recorded ECG waveforms. To clean the thermal print head, open the paper cover and wipe it with a soft cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol. Do not use sharp objects to clean the print head, as this may cause permanent damage. It is recommended to perform print head maintenance monthly.

Keep the silicone rubber shaft clean, smooth, and free of stains. Otherwise, the ECG machine may produce unsatisfactory ECG waveforms. To clean the shaft, wipe it with a soft cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol while rotating it until it is sufficiently clean.
