MU Connector Overview
The MU connector (Miniature Unit) features a square front profile and molded plastic body with push-pull latching mechanism, making it ideal for high-density applications. It holds a single fiber in a ceramic ferrule and is available in single mode UPC/APC and multimode OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 variants.

Fiber Optic Patch Cable Overview
A fiber optic patch cable is terminated at both ends with connectors for rapid connection to CATV, optical switches, and telecommunications equipment. The robust protective layer ensures reliable connections between optical transmitters, receivers, and terminal boxes.
Single Mode Cables
Single mode fiber optic cable features a small diametral core that allows only one mode of light propagation, reducing reflections and attenuation for longer distance transmission. Ideal for high-bandwidth applications by telecommunications providers, CATV companies, and educational institutions.
Multimode Cables
Multimode fiber optic cable has a larger core diameter supporting multiple light modes, enabling higher data capacity over shorter distances. Available in four types: OM1, OM2, OM3, and OM4.
OM1: Orange jacket, 62.5µm core, supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 33 meters
OM2: Orange jacket, 50µm core, supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 82 meters
OM3: Aqua jacket, 50µm core, supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit up to 100 meters
OM4: Aqua jacket, 50µm core, supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 550 meters and 100 Gigabit up to 150 meters
