Description
Product Overview
This semi-automatic hydraulic forming machine is developed for compressing loose herbal tea leaves and tea powder into compressed herbal tea bricks (similar to Pu-erh tea cake / compressed tea brick). It is suitable for herbal tea brands, tea factories and tea gift-set producers.
Work flow: Manual feeding → Automatic hydraulic pressing → Embossing logo/pattern → Automatic demolding → Manual collect finished blocks.
Only 1 operator required. Produced blocks feature uniform density, neat shape, smooth surface and low breakage rate; convenient for storage, transportation and retail packaging.
Main Finished Product: Compressed Herbal Tea Brick
- Material: Dried herbal tea leaves, tea powder, blended herbal tea mix
- Shape: Round cake, square brick, rectangle, nest shape, custom shape
- Embossing: Custom logo, text, pattern available on block surface
- Feature: Consistent compactness, neat shape, suitable for aging, storage and transportation; steam softening recommended before pressing.
Core Advantages
-
Semi-automatic working, labor-saving
Manual feeding & finished-product collection; pressing, embossing, demolding complete automatically. One worker can run the whole machine.
Adjustable hydraulic pressure & thickness
Press tonnage and brick thickness are adjustable on control panel, set proper compactness to keep tea aroma and shape without over-compression.
Food-grade stainless-steel contact parts
All parts touching tea leaves adopt stainless steel, easy to clean, meet food-production hygiene requirement.
Custom mold & logo embossing
Custom shape, dimension and logo embossing available. One machine can produce different tea brick sizes by changing molds.
Solid steel frame, stable long-time running
Heavy-duty welded steel frame ensures stable continuous production, low maintenance, long service life.
Working Principle
- Worker spreads powder evenly into mold cavity.
- Start cycle: hydraulic cylinder goes down to compress powder under preset pressure. Logo/pattern embossed during pressing.
- Press head lifts up, automatic ejection pushes finished block out from mold.
- Worker takes out finished blocks, moves to packing or curing area.
- Refill powder for next production cycle.
Note: Machine only completes pressing forming. Post drying/curing may be required depending on raw material and binder used.
