Common materials | Environmentally friendly options | Feature requirements |
PET (polyethylene terephthalate), PP (polypropylene), PS (polystyrene), PVC (polyvinyl chloride, rarely used in food) | PLA (polylactic acid, biodegradable), RPET (recycled PET) | Food-grade safety (compliant with FDA, EU 10/2011 and other standards) High transparency (light transmittance ≥ 90%) Oil-resistant, water-resistant, and low-temperature-resistant (suitable for refrigeration/freezing) |
1. Dimensions and specifications
Common dimensions (length × width × height, unit: mm):
Small pallet: 150 × 100 × 30
Medium pallet: 250 × 150 × 40
Large pallet: 300 × 200 × 50 (customizable according to needs)
Capacity: marked in liters (L) or milliliters (mL), such as 500mL, 1L, etc.
Thickness:
Ordinary: 0.3~0.8mm
Thickened: 1.0~1.5mm (stronger load-bearing capacity)
2. Physical properties
Temperature range:
Refrigeration/freezing: -40℃~10℃ (applicable to PP material)
Microwave heating (only some PP/PET materials support, need to be clearly marked)
Load-bearing capacity:
Static load-bearing: 5~20kg (depending on thickness and structural design)
Dynamic load-bearing (in transportation): recommended ≤70% of the nominal value
Impact resistance: pass the drop test (such as no breakage when falling from a height of 1m).
3. Functional design
Structural type:
Flat bottom tray, grid bottom (anti-slip drainage), partitioned (multi-grid design)
Edge reinforcement (to improve deformation resistance)
Sealing:
Can be used with plastic wrap or cover film
Some buckle cover design (applicable to modified atmosphere packaging)
