30-100tpd GOLD CIP CIL Plant
1.Product Introduction CIP CIL Gold Extraction
For a 30-100 tpd (tonnes per day) scale, a Gold CIP/CIL plant is considered a "modular" or "compact" operation. This capacity is ideal for small-scale miners or pilot projects because it balances manageable capital investment with high industrial recovery efficiency.
2.Application CIP CIL Gold Extraction
Scale: Small-to-medium mining operations (30, 50, or 100 tonnes of raw ore per day).
Ore Types: Primarily oxidized gold ores, river sand gold concentrates, and gravity separation tailings.
Versatility: Highly effective for recovering "fine-grained" gold that cannot be captured by simple gravity sluices or centrifugal concentrators.
3.Working Principle CIP CIL Gold Extraction
The plant typically follows a 5-stage mechanical and chemical flow:
Crushing & Grinding: Ore is crushed to <10mm and then wet-ground in a Ball Mill to a fine pulp (usually 85% passing 200 mesh).
Thickening: The pulp is dewatered in a High-Efficiency Thickener to reach a density of 35%–40% solids, which is optimal for leaching.
Leaching & Adsorption (CIL/CIP):
CIL: Gold is dissolved by the eco-friendly reagent and simultaneously adsorbed by activated carbon in the same tanks.
CIP: Gold is dissolved in the first 2 tanks and adsorbed in the subsequent 4–6 tanks.
Desorption & Electrowinning: The "loaded carbon" is treated with high-temperature/pressure stripping to release the gold into a solution, which is then electroplated onto steel wool cathodes.
Smelting: The gold-bearing cathode sludge is melted in a clipping furnace to produce >90% purity gold bullion.
4.Advantages CIP CIL Gold Extraction
High Recovery: Even at 30 tpd, you can achieve 92%–98% recovery, far exceeding the 50%–70% typical of gravity-only plants.
Modular Design: Many 30-100 tpd plants are now built as skid-mounted or containerized units, allowing for rapid setup (2–4 weeks) and easy relocation.
Eco-Friendly Integration: Perfectly suited for the cyanide-free reagents discussed earlier, making environmental permitting much easier for small operators.
Low Operational Footprint: Requires minimal land clearing and can often be powered by mid-sized diesel generators or local grid connections.
