1.Product Introduction
The Industrial Coal Slime Rotary Dryer is a continuous drying system specifically engineered to process high-moisture coal slime. Its core structure features a horizontal rotating cylinder, which achieves highly efficient dehydration through either counter-current or co-current contact between hot air and the material. As a specialized application of the rotary dryer, this equipment is widely utilized across industries such as coal mining, mineral processing, chemical engineering, and building materials.
2.Application
Specifically designed for high-humidity and high-viscosity materials with moisture content as high as 90%, such as municipal sludge, chemical sludge, electroplating sludge, printing and dyeing sludge, and oilfield sludge. It can reduce moisture content to below 12% in a single drying pass.
3.Working Principle
Coal slime enters from the elevated end of the drum. As the drum rotates, the material is repeatedly lifted and showered by internal flights, ensuring thorough heat exchange with the hot air. Moisture evaporates under high temperatures, and the dried material is discharged from the lower end. To prevent wall-sticking, the equipment often incorporates cleaning devices and a "Zero Horizontal Thrust" roller structure, which minimizes wear and enhances stability. The drying process is typically divided into multiple temperature zones (e.g., from 430 C down to 60 C), achieving high-efficiency
dehydration while preventing the coal slime from coking or charring.
