Performance
1.1 Non-polarized cubic semi reflector
● It is composed of two right-angle prisms, and the ratio of reflected light to transmitted light is 1:1 (the ratio does not
vary with the polarizing component).
● The incident surface and exit surface are coated with antireflection multilayer film.
● The effective bandwidth is narrow, which is designed for a specific wavelength.
● The transmitted light hardly causes optical axis shift and double image phenomenon.
1.2 Dielectric film cubic semi reflector
● It is composed of two right-angle prisms, one of which is coated with dielectric multilayer partially reflective film on
the inclined plane.
● A spectroscope divides the incident light into reflected light and transmitted light in a 1:1 ratio.
● The entrance and exit surfaces of the cube are coated with antireflection multilayer film.
● The loss of input light is reduced because the dielectric film is less absorbed. The ratio of reflectivity and
transmittance varies with the wavelength, polarization state and angle of incidence.
● Cubic spectroscope hardly causes the phenomenon of optical axis offset and double image.
