Overview
The RRU5502 is an outdoor remote radio unit (RRU) used in distributed base station architectures. It handles radio frequency (RF) amplification, modulation/demodulation, and interfaces to antennas and baseband units. The “BSJ / 02312BSJ” version typically supports 4T4R (4 transmit / 4 receive) in the 1800 MHz + 2100 MHz bands (LTE / UMTS / GSM, etc.). It is designed for outdoor deployment, near the antenna, supporting multiple carriers and RATs, with rugged environmental specs (temperature, humidity, etc.), and flexible bandwidths in LTE FDD mode.
