Description

The FTTH Figure-8 Self-Supporting Drop Cable is designed for fiber-to-the-home deployments where both durability and efficient installation are essential. The optical fiber is positioned at the center of the cable structure, with two parallel FRP strength members placed on both sides to provide excellent mechanical protection. An additional steel wire strength member enhances tensile performance, allowing the cable to be used in aerial self-supporting applications.

The outer sheath is available in PVC or LSZH material, ensuring flame retardance, environmental safety, and long service life. This bow-type drop cable is typically constructed using GJXFH or GJXH fiber cable combined with a steel or stranded steel strength member, making it ideal for transitioning from outdoor aerial installations to indoor routing.
