The E82ZAFPC010 Lenze FUNCTION MODULE is an interface module designed for the PROFIBUS communication system. It can be connected to the AIF slots of Lenze's 8200 vector, 8200 motec, and starttec device series. This module supports the PROFIBUS-DP-V0 communication profile and features the DRIVECOM profile "Drive Technology 20" (which can be switched off). It also supports I&M0 functionality for standard device identification. Automatic detection of the baud rate (9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps) ensures flexible communication setup. An external 24V supply maintains the PROFIBUS network even when the standard device fails. A DIP switch activates the bus terminating resistor, and LED status indicators provide real-time monitoring of the function module's power supply, connection to the PROFIBUS network, and connection to the standard device.
